Q2. Where can we go to buy standard equipment?

There is a whole post about this.

Conveniently located within the outer bailey of Candle Keep are several shops that cater to delvers of the dungeon.

Basic armor and weapons can be had at By Hammer and Tongs, the storefront of the keep's own blacksmith,  Roelof Dhorne. You won't find anything fancy but every item is made to strict specifications by a Dwarven craftsman.

If you are in the market for backpacks, ropes, 10 ft poles, and rations, step on over to Eberk's Outfitters. A retired caravan guard, Eberk knows what it means to rely on one's euipment and he stands by everything in his shop.

Potions? Oh, we have potions and paut galore at the Broken Vial potion shop. Yiyi brews every dose herself from the finest alchemical ingredients. No awful herbal aftertaste like that druidic stuff.

Visit Embers and Ashes for delicious druidic healing potions, alchemical grenades, and poisons.

Finally, Taboos and Voodoos offers a fluctuating inventory of magical wares. Even if there is nothing you want, the trip is worth it just to see Rajjij, the three-headed triger-folk proprietor. Where did he come from? Not even he knows!
